Originally from New York state. Family later moved to Maryland. Prep school at McDonogh School in Baltimore. College at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. Science major. Dropped out after a year. Started hanging out with a bunch of artists and writers. Got interested in art. Started drawing and painting. Art program at Washington College in Chestertown, MD. Summer studies at University of Delaware, Newark. Graduated Washington College, Fine Art degree.
Worked 12 years in computer tech and IT at college and corporate levels. Got first digital camera. Started taking lots of pictures. Moved to California. Got involved with another bunch of artists & creatives. Discovered LED lighting technology. Became licensed rep for L.A. based LED OEM. Expanded into muti-source LED consultancy.
